The Business

The stager is on staff, and so is the marketer.

Jeffery Group is Justin Jeffery’s team at Royal LePage Real Estate Associates, founded in 2018 and run out of 521 Main Street in Glen Williams, the village on the Credit River just north of Georgetown. Ten agents sell, and behind them sit three people who do not: an operations director, a team coordinator handling client care, and a property stylist who has been at it since 2007. That is the structure, and it is the whole pitch.

The numbers are theirs and they put them up front. Ninety per cent of the business comes by referral, which they say has put Jeffery in the top one per cent in Canada and the team in the top half a per cent of Ontario’s 78,000 realtors. What you can see for yourself is the marketing, which is the thing they lean on: Jeffery came out of national print and digital marketing before real estate, and the line is that a listing gets a campaign rather than a Realtor.ca entry.

The ground they cover is Halton first. Georgetown, Acton and the rest of Halton Hills, then Milton, Oakville and Burlington, with Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and Toronto on the community pages and current listings as far out as Erin and Wellington County. The other thing they publish is what they do off the clock, which is unusual enough to mention: a tree-planting day in Halton Hills, a seniors’ Christmas list, a Thanksgiving turkey drive, and the Glen Williams Canada Day parade.

“When you are my client, I want you to feel like you are my only client.”

Justin Jeffery, on the team page.

What they do

  • Selling, with staging in-house

A property stylist on the team rather than a contractor, and a marketer to run the campaign. Their line is that a listing gets made famous for its buyer, not just posted.

  • Buying, from Halton Hills to the lake

New listing alerts by email, a map search, and calculators for the mortgage maths. The agents split the map between them, from Acton down to south Mississauga.

  • A free home evaluation

Postal code in, a range out, delivered in person or by email. Free and no obligation is their wording.

  • Street Match

Their neighbourhood updates, sent to you, on what is selling around your street.

  • Commercial and leasing

Jill Johnson has sold commercial alongside residential for thirty years, and Steve Nyarady leases as well as sells.

  • The buyer’s homework

Short guides on their site: the five costly mistakes, avoiding a money pit, what your credit score does to you, and saving on interest.

In their clients’ words

  • “He knows his business and gets results quickly.”

Maria and Robert Evans, from the testimonials on jefferygroupre.ca

  • “Went the extra mile to help us.”

Elicia Rabie and Kobie, on Karen Vandersluis-Marshall

  • “Very professional and goes above and beyond.”

The things people ask

Answered from their own published pages. Anything not covered here is a question for them, not for us.

Where is the office?

521 Main Street in Glen Williams, the village just north of Georgetown, inside Halton Hills. The office line is (289) 862-2927.

Which brokerage are they with?

Royal LePage Real Estate Associates, an independently owned and operated brokerage. Justin Jeffery’s listing on rew.ca says the same.

Who do I actually get?

One of ten agents. Justin Jeffery leads the team, and each of the others has a bio on the team page naming the towns they know. Ask for someone local to where you are buying.

Do they cover my town?

Halton Hills, Milton, Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and Toronto each have a page on their site, and their current listings reach into Erin and Wellington County. Past that, ask.

What does the evaluation cost?

Nothing, on their wording. Free and no obligation, in person or by email.

Do they stage?

Yes, in-house. Cheryl Nelson is the team’s property stylist, with a diploma in interior decorating and home staging and a start in design in 2007.
