The short version: be useful, be honest and don’t be an asshole.

  1. 01

    Nothing appears automatically

Every submission is reviewed. Sending something does not create a post and does not guarantee publication.

  2. 02

    Questions should be real

Ask something the community can meaningfully answer. Specific questions beat vague complaints.

  3. 03

    No personal attacks

No harassment, accusations, private disputes, discrimination or attempts to embarrass an individual.

  4. 04

    Claims need support

If a submission makes a factual claim about a person, business or development, we may ask for evidence and contact the affected party.

  5. 05

    We edit

We may shorten, clarify, combine or retitle submissions without changing their meaning.

  6. 06

    Paid means labelled

Advertisements, sponsored showcases and paid placements are clearly identified. Buying an ad does not buy control over questions, results or coverage.

  7. 07

People get a fair chance to respond

If a topic directly concerns a local business, organization or developer, we may invite them to add context before or after publication.

  8. 08

    We can say no

We may decline anything that is repetitive, promotional, dishonest, cruel, legally risky or simply not useful.
