Why we’re asking

Everybody in this region has a map in their head with a blank patch on it. This is the question of whose patch is most unfair.

Durham gets described as Oshawa by people who have never been past Ajax. Peel gets described as Pearson by people who have never eaten in it. York is towers on Yonge to people who have not walked Main Street Unionville or seen the McMichael. Halton is Oakville money to anyone who has not been up the escarpment to Georgetown.

Pick the one the region gets most wrong. The winning region’s guides go to the top of the page for a week.

Sources: none. This is a compliment, not a report.
